How to make a print and play game FAST

By designing my game I have learnt that PnP games are sometimes a pain in the ass. If you want to make it nice, you need to invest a lot of time and having around some materials or even space you don't have. So I come up with a method that allows you to print and play a game right away. And it's very simple and cheap!

The fastest way to print and play a game is to use opaque card sleeves like this one:

Opaque card sleeves are great for PnP games

By using different colors you can separate between different types of cards or deck,  allowing you to skip printing the back side.

A pack of 80 sleeves cost me just 5€. And I can reuse them!

So just print the front side of the game you want to play in a regular printer, then cut the cards and put them inside the sleeves. You can add poker cards behind your custom cards, to add consistency and make it easier to shuffle and deal. But even without it, it's ok to play

It's great while you are designing a game because you can reuse them. Just take the card inside for another and that's it! I did that a lot, as I was making little changes in my cards and replacing them until I come up with a consistent gameplay.

Sometimes I would notice a grammar mistake or a change I wanted to make, and take the card out of the sleeve and write over it!

Please, forgive my poor handwriting

So if you are considering designing a card game, and you want to playtest it, this would be the easiest and fastest way to do it.
